Some of the most inspiring venues include;
Castle Ashby, Castle Ashby near Wellingborough
The imposing Castle Ashby, situated in rural Northamptonshire, is set in 200 acres of parkland. This is within a 10,000 acre estate and was the seat of the 7th Marques of Northampton. It has a mile long avenue planted in 1695. The grounds are blessed with a lovely Italian garden, a delightful orangery and an impressive arboretum. With this picturesque setting, the castle becomes a perfect place for wedding receptions. Ideally held on the Terraces or the Lawn, it is picture perfect and Wellingborough Photographers take advantage of the settings for creating masterpieces in Wedding Photography.
The Wellingborough Golf Club is absolutely breathtaking in the beautiful view it offers. It has 160 acres of rolling parkland. Within the grounds is the magnificent Harrowden Hall with 5 acres of gardens around it. These gardens are hemmed in by brick walls and have grand iron gates. King Henry the eighth and James the first have been visitors at this Hall. A chapel situated here makes it convenient for holding weddings. Customised marquees are set up in the lovely gardens which can hold up to 200 guests. Wedding Photographers in Wellingborough find the patio and the gardens ideal for location photography. The backdrop of the Harrowden Hall is truly amazing.
The Courtyard Hotel, Stanwick near Wellingborough
This is yet another popular Wedding Venue; the boutique hotel, ‘The Courtyard’, in Stanwick Northamptonshire. They have 20 bedrooms for guests with baths. And for the ceremony, there is an events suite called the “Reflections” which can hold up to 250 guests. The gardens are beautiful and make for great outdoor weddings and can provide the perfect backdrop for Northamptonshire Wedding Photography.
It is an A Grade Queen Anne House surrounded by 37 acres of grounds and parkland. It is located midway between Wellingborough and the town of Bedford. The mature trees are awe inspiring as are the extensive lawns and beautiful gardens. A short distance from the house is the Church of St Mary the Virgin, where a wedding ceremony can be held. The Victorian North Wing of the house, with its vaulted ceilings and wonderful natural lighting, is great for the celebration. It even has a Lounge Bar adjoining it. Outdoor spaces can have marquees erected which lends itself to Reportage Wedding Photography.
Although all the venues in the area are not covered here, the above mentioned ones are some of my personal favourites.
