On the 23rd January 2011 my wife gave birth to our second son, Joshua George Cox. Perhaps a very apt way to celebrate the start of blogging on this site by celebrating Joshua.
It was a long drawn out labour which lasted over the course of three days. We were both very tired to say the least but it all went by very quickly and is a complete blur now. Myself and my wife Jo are over the moon with his arrival, along with his 16 month old brother Ashton who continuously tries to kiss him and pick his nose funnily enough. He is absolutely fascinated by him and the mere mention of the name Joshua causes him to sing out “Baby”!
The attached photo was taken while Jo was recovering in the Worcester Royal Hospital the following day. I know a lot of people knock the weather in the UK, but I love the soft, diffused light coming in from the window. You can only get this type of light when there are thick clouds in the sky. It helps to set the scene beautifully and makes for a stunning photography. This one will certainly be hanging on the wall very soon.
