Being a Worcestershire wedding photographer, the journey down to St Albans was a long one for me. However, it was very much worth the journey to witness such a lovely couple get married in the glorious summer weather we enjoyed on their wedding day. Their was a real buzz in the atmosphere right from the word go, which was certainly helped along with the music playing from one of the guests boom box. This ensured there were lots of smiley faces to photograph as everyone seemed to be in good spirits. This always helps when you are having a celebration right?
St. Michaels Manor Hotel was a lovely venue for a wedding reception, with some gorgeous period features, a wonderful conservatory and picturesque lake with a large gaggle of Canadian Geese to boot. I had zero problems getting great photography at this venue and would jump at the opportunity to photograph there again.
The highlight of the day for me personally, as it was something I had never seen before at a wedding, was a dance off between the American Guests and the British Guests. Lets just some moves were busted and some shapes were cut! Great fun!!
