As a Worcestershire wedding photographer, it is nice to get that email asking do a job that is a little bit different than the norm. Although I didn’t photograph Rachel & Simon’s actual wedding, which was a small intimate affair, I jumped at the chance to shoot their party once I knew what was to be involved. With the fact is was just down the road in the Worcestershire countryside, made it a no brainer. On the day, the weather was outstanding and could not have been more pleasant. Considering the theme of the wedding, the glorious sunny evening played a massive role in helping create the images to go with the theme. Although cloud and rain would have probably been more usual for the UK, they were very lucky and got the romantic summers day I am sure they were dreaming of. There was a great atmosphere to go with it too. Everyone was in high spirits and there was a calm and relaxed mood which made wedding photography easy for me. It was great to be invited to such a magical evening and I wish Simon & Rachel all the best for their future together. Congratulations!! 🙂

After 8 years together, from meeting at University, going travelling, and starting out new life and careers in Leamington, Simon casually stated over a plate of ribs ‘ sooooo, what do you think of marriage?’ Soon after on Si’s Birthday (after a Birthday Steak from Rachel) Simon proposed at our home on the 31st July.

Rachel on Simon- Si’s kindness, he will do anything to help others and his cups of teas.
