I received an email from the bride about a month before the wedding. Having photographed her good friends wedding in Cyprus a few years previous, she liked the way I worked and loved my natural style of reportage wedding photography. Being that her friend, was the only bride in my 5 years of shooting in Cyprus, to have had a “trash the dress” shoot on her actual wedding day, I was building a picture in my head of the London wedding I might be photographing. True to form, when I arrived with about an hour or so before they were to be married, everyone seemed to be moving rather slowly. What else is going to happen when you gather a bunch a party people together on the night before a wedding?! 😀
In all seriousness, I had an amazing time with their friends and family. Everyone was so very welcoming, fun loving and simply a pleasure to be around. Add to this the chance to photograph in the Dorchester Hotel, one of London’s premiere hotels, in the most affluent area of the UK, I count myself extremely lucky to have been asked to document their wedding. Thank you for inviting me and Congratulations!

As a sidenote: I just want to thank them for being so brave as they actually went inside a telephone box for one of their photos. eeeww!
