For any West Midlands wedding photographer, shooting a lovely outdoor wedding is extremely enjoyable. The joy of sneaking up on people for reportage wedding photography makes the challenge of a wedding very interesting and of course great pleasure.
Ross & Danielle were a lovely couple and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together! Congratulations!! 🙂
1) Please tell me how you first met?
We first met at work. We actually worked together for a couple of years without really knowing each other as we worked different days and were both in other relationships at that time. One day I needed someone to cover me and I text Ross to see if he was free he said yes then asked how I was and that’s what started a constant stream of back and forth texts. We just instantly connected on every level. We literally used to text all day from 9am until 3am sometimes!

2) When was it you knew they were the one?
We have both agreed there wasn’t one exact moment but more the strong instant connection we had. From that very first text we felt like we knew each other inside and out. Couldn’t imagine not talking to each other everyday.

3) Could you give us the story of the proposal?
I (Danni) had just returned from two weeks in france with my family. I was in the kitchen turned around and there was this beautiful sparkling ring in front of my eyes. Ross then said he never wanted to spend another moment apart and asked me to marry him. It was simple yet perfect.

4) If you don’t mind sharing, can you tell me something quirky, funny or silly about your partner?
Danni- The cheeky sparkle he gets in his eye whenever he is making fun of me
Ross- She is very clumsy!

5) What is your perfect day together?
A sunny day, walk in the countryside, sitting by a lake.

6) Apart from the obvious, what are you most looking forward to on your wedding day?
Sharing it with our family and friends

7) What was it that inspired you to go for the theme or the decor you chose for your wedding?
Danni- I have always loved the colour pink and I’ve always liked everything classy and elegant

8) Please tell me one thing you wish you had known at the beginning of your wedding planning process, that you could pass on to future bride’s reading this blog?
It is always worth shopping around especially when on a budget. Its easy to get swept away in the excitement but I needed more of a practical head on my shoulders!

9) When searching, what were you were looking for in a wedding venue?
We were looking for something that felt like ‘us’. We always wanted a venue that had a relaxed countryside feel to it. We fell in love with our venue for the stunning scenery and it had a lovely homely feel to it.

10) Could you tell me the process you went through when you were looking for a wedding photographer?
We studied a lot of photos trying to find the type that we would be looking for. We chose Duncan Cox Photography as you capture the natural happy poses, real emotions and create stunning photos.
